Disney anuncia despido de 7 mil empleados. La gran compañía que fabrica sueños, Disney, anunció esta semana que va a despedir al 3% de la planilla de sus empleados.
Una noticia que no sorprende, porque ya lo hemos visto con grandes empresas como Microsoft, Google, etc.

¿A qué se debe el despido?
Al igual que las otras grandes empresas de tecnología, Disney tiene que reducir costos, debido a que el 2022 no fue un año tan productivo a nivel financiero como se esperaba.
A pesar de que consiguieron superar las expectativas en cuanto a las ganancias que tenían en mente, aún para poder mantenerse este año, decidieron hacer los ajustes.
Y, es que recordemos, que Disney lo pasó bastante mal en la pandemia, tuvieron que cerrar sus parques por tiempo indeterminado y liberar sin paga a más de 10 mil empleados.
Esto afecto profundamente la compañía.
También anunciaron recortes en sus campañas de Marketing, y en sus plataformas.
Ah, y, a eso, le tenemos que sumar que su plataforma de Streaming Disney +, por más que cuente con las series y películas de Marvel no está generando tanto lucro como esperaban.
Es más, para el último trimestre del 2022, ellos perdieron más de 2.4 millones de suscriptores. Ha sido la primera vez, desde que ellos lanzaron la plataforma, que no ganaron ningún suscriptor, y que más bien lo perdieron.

El CEO de la compañía, Igor, anunció que entiende el gran compromiso que tienen todos los empleados al rededor del mundo que trabaja para ellos.
Y que la decisión no fue tomada a la ligera. Él espera que para finales de año, puedan mantener la compañía estable, y comenzar con las contrataciones de nuevo.
No se habló de los beneficios que van a recibir los empleados después de ser despedidos, aún estamos esperando más informaciones.
