USA withdraws 400 products from the market. The United States made the decision this week to remove more than 400 food products, which include sandwiches, yoghurts, salads, eggs, tomato, quesos, and additional products ready to eat, of which only need to be heated in the microwave.
The FDA, which is the Food and Drug Administration of the United States, announced that more than 400 products from different brands are contaminated with Listeria.

This illness is very serious, because it causes very rapid dehydration in the human body. Listeria causes vomiting, headache, diarrhea and fever. Which, if it is not treated with time, can have greater consequences.
The most vulnerable people to suffer from this infection are newly born, older adults, embarassed women and all who have their immune system weakened by another illness.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States (CDC) announced that around 1,600 people contracted this infection each year, and at least 260 died for this reason.
The FDA has not announced that reports of sick people have been found, but, to prevent this, they have decided to eliminate all these products from the market.

Fresh Ideation Food Group, commented that they made the decision with the FDA to withdraw the food, even though the environmental tests that they constantly carry out in their company were positive for this infection.
Fresh Ideation Food Group products are distributed across 9 states in the United States, including: Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Carolina del Sur, Massachusetts and Virginia.
To help consumers identify these products, the company states that it has a label that says Fresh Creative Cuisine, next to the sales or expiration date that goes from January 31 to January 6, both closings are gift year.
