Silence mode
This new option helps users set up a period of time where they don't want to use the Instagram app and concentrate on other things.
During this period, the application will not send anyone notification and users who intend to contact you will know that you are in Hot mode.
Once you return, you will get everything you missed, such as mentions, messages, comments, etc. so that you separate what was happening while you were gone.
The objective of the new Instagram functions is to improve the experience of users of the application and the so-called “Silent Mode”, created to help the productivity of users who cannot ignore notifications from the app.
Another available function is to show the status of the user's profile.
In this sense, when trying to send a message to someone who has activated Silent Mode, the user who is trying to contact them will receive an automatic message informing them that, at that moment, the function is enabled.
Initially, the silent mode will only be available to users in the United States, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Ireland. In the next few months the update will be available to the rest of users.
Teenagers will receive a message reminding them to activate the mode after reaching a certain amount of usage time on the app.
How to enable silent mode on Instagram?
Instagram's silent mode is not yet available in all countries as we explained previously, but if you find it in countries with free access, follow the following steps:
